934 Gallery

934 is a 100% volunteer-run art gallery in the Milo-Grogan neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. I joined the marketing committee in 2021 and had the opportunity to create social and print collateral for artists’ exhibitions and the annual music festival, 934 Fest, as well as develop a brand an ongoing pop-up gallery space at the John Glenn International Airport (CMH).

Pay Artists Campaign

A new initiative and campaign started by 934 Gallery in 2024 to create an artists fund for paying all exhibiting artists, musicians, and performers who operate in the gallery or it’s sponsored events. As part of the initiative, we also designed a pledge and call to the community to commit to paying creatives for their work.

934Fest 2022 identity

When creating the 2022 934Fest identity, I pulled from motifs within the festival’s featured artists’ work as well as labels, branding, and advertisements from vintage stereo equipment of the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

934 at CMH identity

During my tenure at 934, we’ve opened several pop-up gallery spaces around the city which I’ve had the opportunity to provide branding for, including an exhibition space at the John Glenn International Airport (CMH).

Weird Movie Nights

Starting as a simple Halloween movie screening in 2022, 934 Gallery has expanded it’s event offerings to include seasonal cult film screenings.

exhibition + event collateral

New artist exhibit at 934 monthly and are promoted primarily through social channels. Various community and fundraising events are also hosted within the gallery throughout the year to bring money into the 100% volunteer-run organization.

934Fest 2023 identity

The featured artists for 934Fest 2023 were creating a group show and large scale mural based around board games. I explored the theme of the chess board and extrapolated it across the art and music festival’s marketing and collateral.
