Meg, of YouTube’s MegSquats, tasked me with creating a mark she could start off her weight-training apparel line with that would be approachable, fun, and stand out from the rest of the hyper-masculine fitness-brand landscape.

It was decided early on in our explorations that hand lettering was the right approach to contrast the bold, italicized sans-serif typography that dominates the fitness landscape.
